The Transalyse project consists of software written in ISO C++ to deliver TCP/IP network transmission statistical analysis at OSI layer 4. A user supplied configuration providing input to accommodate diverse network arrangements is passed from a flat file or in an environment variable. A typical use case involves inspecting the network performance of several hosts in a varied network landscape. Steps are then taken should the measured performance of a given host fall below configured threshholds.

Michael Schloh von Bennewitz is a computer scientist and the author of a number of software titles. Specializing in network and user interface software design, his contributions have lead to improvements in security and stability of the communications systems of network providers and software vendors.
